We are currently living and working in extraordinary times. Our lives have altered, for many beyond recognition.  Mobile VMS have been rigorously following the guidance of Public Health Authorities in the UK and Ireland, our customers and supply chain. The health, safety and well-being of our employees, customers and suppliers is of utmost importance. To ensure we protect our company, the wider community and those we cherish, we have instigated a ‘home-working policy for all our office based employees and field sales team. This came into effect on Monday 16^th March 2020.

Rest assured, in this virtual world, we are all still contactable in the usual manner and all staff now have fully equipped home offices. Many of us are now balancing work life with simultaneously managing children who are no longer at nursery or school. We have taken a flexible approach and adapted to our ‘new normal’. Yes, our conference calls may be unexpectedly interrupted with requests for snacks, but we’re all in this together so we ask for your understanding in the coming weeks or months.

Our operations team continue to serve customers and projects across the UK and Ireland. Our employees will now travel alone when servicing the delivery and collection of variable message signs and traffic control equipment. Each member of our operations team has their own company vehicle. We have fully equipped our staff with appropriate PPE and taken extra measures to ensure their safety. These include the provision of filter masks, gloves, googles, antibacterial wipes and hand sanitiser. Our company wide Covid-19 policy lists the appropriate measures and procedures which all staff must adhere to in order protect themselves and the wider public. This will be updated in line with the introduction of new Government guidelines. 

We have taken all appropriate action to ensure that our services continue without any immediate interruption.  We are well positioned to manage our business activity without disruption and mitigate any adverse risk but we will keep you fully abreast of developments should the situation or advice change. The Highways Industry as a whole is extremely resilient. In the face of adversity, we are here to support you all where we can. Let’s stay connected!
